Program: Bob Pauplis "Engineering Aspects of Timekeeping Devices" Tonight's presentation was on the Calendar - its importance to us and how to implement it in timekeepers. Bob gave us a handout on how to re-use old calendars. Bob Pauplis is an Electrical Engineer with many years of design experience of complex electrical instruments, mechanical mechanisms, and software. His horological interests have dated back to his early adult years and he enjoys the engineering aspects of timekeeping devices as well as the implementation of various complications. |
