Program: Dr. Jon Weber, - Chronometers and their influence on the development of watches.
China Moon Restaurant

Dr. Jon Weber spoke on the subject of chronometers and their influence on the development of watches. A very informative and interesting talk. Those who didn't before, now know what a chronometer is; well, depending on its definition.
Jon is the Vice President of The Greater Boston Watch Collectors and belongs to several NAWCC chapters. He became interested in watches as a method of developing hand skill for doing physics experiments. His interest is in precision watches, chronometers, pocket chronometers and railroad watches. He enjoys searching, wearing, photographing, and especially talking about them. Jon also likes to track down the backgrounds of interesting watches.
